Residents working together to plant a border

Money to improve your estate

We’re delighted to tell you that our estate improvement budget is back for 2020! With this money, we can help you make improvements to your estate to benefit you and your community.

Grab a grant

If you live in a block of flats, as a resident, you can apply for a grant towards your estate improvements. We want to work with you to come up with ideas and suggestions that will benefit you and everyone in your community.

What’s your improvement idea?

We would love to hear your suggestions. We are looking for your creative and practical ideas or, you can work with us to put an idea forward.

Here are some ideas to get you thinking:-

  • What could help reduce Anti-Social Behaviour?
  • Something educational for children
  • Bin store improvements
  • Garden – bulb planting, sheds or flower beds

Simply fill in the Estate Improvement Budget Application Form to tell us all about your idea. If you need any support completing the form, please contact our Resident Engagement Officer, Danielle Jones on her contact details below.

What happens next?

We will review all the applications we receive. While we aim to carry out improvements that benefit everyone, we’ll prioritise outdoor improvements and those that will bring the most benefit in better weather, first.

When will work start?

At the moment, during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, no work can take place. However, we want to be ready once we can start work, so we are accepting your applications now!

We will review every application we receive and then consult with you further. We will then plan to start work on successful improvement ideas once the pandemic is over.

Get involved now!

Don’t wait.  Please send us your suggestions and ideas now using the Estate Improvement Budget Application Form.  Don’t forget, if you need help with filling out the form, please contact daniellej@unitedcommunities.org.uk
