United Communities has been commended by 24housing magazine in their annual list of the top 50 housing associations in the country for our ‘More Than Just a Roof’ motto. Our motto means supporting and engaging with our tenants to support them to make the most of their talents abilities to achieve their goals.
Best Scheme in Planning (30+ units) -National Housing Awards 2018
United Communities, Bristol & Bath Regional Capital (BBRC), the Cheyne Social Property Impact Fund (Cheyne) and HAB Housing were delighted to be the winner of a National Housing Award for their Dunmail site delivering 161 mixed-tenure homes in the Southmead area of Bristol.
Organisation Award for Race/Ethnicity – BCfm Bristol Diversity Award 2018
United Communities have been awarded the Organisation Award for Race/Ethnicity by the Bristol Diversity Awards. We have a long history of supporting BME residents to secure good quality housing across Bristol and look forward to continuing with our ‘More Than Just a Roof’ ethos.
Exemplary Housing Professional Award – Women in Housing Awards 2016
United Communities Chief Executive, Oona Goldsworthy was awarded the Exemplary Housing Professional Award at the 2016 Women in Housing Awards. This award recognises an individual with clear professional and personal integrity, who demonstrates an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the housing sector, and whose input has a positive impact on the lives of women.
Community Achievement Award – 24 Housing Awards 2016
United Communities were awarded the Community Achievement Award for their More Than Just a Roof work. At the core of the organisation is the belief that a roof over your head is just the start, and that together with residents they can make the communities in which they work great places to live.
