We are delighted to announce that following an extensive procurement procedure and interviews for the new cleaning contract we have appointed Ambience Cleaning.
As a community focused housing association it is important to us to gain a resident’s insight to our work and contractors, therefore we asked a resident to be a member of the contractor interview panel. Helen, the resident panel member said, “It was great to speak with the contractors knowing that they understand the current issues that residents experience with cleaners and what they could do to resolve them. Also, how they are going to interact with residents and make things better.”
Tony Locke, Senior Surveyor at United Communities said, “The conclusion of the procurement process demonstrated that Ambience offered the best value for money. We were keen to provide a more personal service for residents and ensure a positive relationship with our contractors and, with the appointment of Ambience, are looking forward to an efficient cleaning service for residents.”
Ambience began their work in in June and are responsible for the fortnightly cleaning of all internal communal areas. Contractor from Ambience said, “Ambience Cleaning is delighted to be given this opportunity and is looking forward to work in partnership with United Communities and all their residents to improve the environment around their homes.”
After a settling in period of twelve weeks, Ambience will leave behind feedback cards that residents can fill in to provide us with some valuable feedback on the standard of their service.
