If you‘re looking to get in to work or change careers, and feel you need to brush up on skills, there are a number of courses run by City of Bristol College that can help you. These courses are taught by friendly tutors and are designed to ease you back in to a learning environment. Run at a number of different venues throughout Bristol, these courses will help you gain confidence and skills to put on your CV. What’s more, they are totally FREE if you claim certain benefits. Some examples of courses running are:

  • IT for beginners
  • Health and Social Care
  • Caring for Children
  • Community Development

The college also runs short employability courses with focuses on retail, hospitality and health & social care.Book

City of Bristol College is also running a programme aimed at 16 – 25 year olds with the idea that it helps them get back into education, employment or training. Along with helping create CV’s, work experience and community projects the course aims to build self-esteem, confidence and resilience.

We also work with a number of community partners that offer 1 to 1 employability support.

So if you think 2018 is the time for you to move in to a new job, now is the time to start preparing and the Tenancy Impact Team is here to support you!
